Omaggio have found their language through relentless hard work, dedication and
passion; an amalgamation of many performing arts disciplines with contemporary
dance and Indian influences. Omaggio
was born with the idea of helping young people from India, to train at
international standards and to become world artists. The initiative of
Peeya Rai Choudhuri and Tino Sanchez started in 2012, with no financial
backing. A Performing Arts educational program fusing philosophy from West and
East was created. After a 4 year journey , today Omaggio, a unique

Established in 1996 by Maria dos Milagres Miranda Paz. Milagres Miranda Paz is an important figure of the historic portuguese dance movement "Movimento Renovação da Dança", which migrated abroad after the portuguese revolution of "25 de Abril" of 1974 in the search for technical influence. Milagres studied at the Boston Conservatory, choreographed and danced for professional companies in Boston, and returned to Portugal in the late 80's to open the first school of Dance in the Azores Islands region, and perhaps in Portugal.
